Surnames: Keaton, Riley, Kraher, Emerson,Blackwell Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VKB.2ACE/1112 Message Board Post: Mae Kraher, daughter of the late Bonie and Minnie Keaton Riley was born on March 22 1987 in Vichy, MO and departed this life on March 2, 1987 at the Rogers Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas having attained the age of 81 years, 11 months and 10 days. Mae was a resident of St. James where she owned and operated the Street Car Restaurant and Mae's Restaurant. In 1971 she moved to Bourbon, MO where she made her home before moving to Rogers. Arkansas in 1984 to be with her daughter. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bourbon, MO. 0n August 14, 1927 in Phelps County, Missouri she was united in marriage to Elvie Kraher who preceded her in death on October 22, 1941. Surviving her are: a daughter, Wanetta Scott and husband Charles of Bentonville, Arkansas, a daughter-In-law, Barbara Kuelker of Sullivan, MO, a brother, Vernon Riley of Vichy, MO. two sisters-In-law, Malissa Baker of Hollister, MO, Vurba Riley of O'FaIIon, MO, three grandchildren, Donald Kraher, Jr. ! of Germany, David and Melissa Kraher of Sullivan, MO, an aunt Augusta Hamil of Bourbon, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides those previously mentioned she was preceded in death by a son, Donald in 1973, a grandson, Roy Scott in 1977, a sister, Clara Emerson and a brother, Otha Riley. A kind and loving mother, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, aunt and friends. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, 1987 from the First United Methodist Church in Bourbon with Rev. Jim Coats officiating. Interment was in the St. James Cemetery, St. James, MO. Funeral Arrangements were under the direction of Hassebrock's Bourbon Chapel, Bourbon, MO. (Would like to correspond with descendants of this family. Need more information on Minnie Keaton, wife of Samuel Boney Riley. Believe that Minnie Keaton was daughter of William Thomas and Elivira Jane (Blackwell) Kea! ton.)
