Logan McDaniel was born in Tennessee on Dec., 13, 1848 and moved to Vienna, Maries County at the age of six months where he lived until January 9th, 1933, when he departed this life at the age of 84 years and 24 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Jane Duncan. To this union were born five children. His wife and five children preceeded him in death. He was united in marriage the second time to Miss Jane Snook and four children were born to this union. His wife and one son preceeded him in death from this union. In 1901 he was married to Mrs. Martha West. No children were born to this union. He served as a private in the Missouri Infantry in the Civil War for (this is on a crease, and someone has written over the faded printing with "1 year.") He joined the Baptist Church at Little Flock and was baptized several year(sic) ago. His body was taken to Little Flock Jan. 10th, by undertaker, Carl Birmingham, where funeral services were conducted by Rev. H.G. Miller and the body was tenderly laid to rest in the cemetery there midst a host of relatives and friends. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife three sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from hence forth; yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them. Revelations 14. 13.
