LAMBUR DIED IN FLORIDA FOLLOWING STROKE John Henry Lambur, 81, died Monday morning at 4:45 o'clock in West Palm Beach, Florida from a stroke. He and Mrs. Lambur had left Vienna last week and arrived in West Palm Beach on Friday. Mr. Lambur appeared well but on arising Saturday morning complained of dizziness. The stroke followed. He was born Dec. 9, 1877 but was orphaned at an early age and reared by an aunt in Brookfield, MO. On Jun 30, 1906 he was united in marriage to Beryl Boardman of Quincy, Ill., whom he had met while visiting relatives there. He spent most of his life in the printing and publishing industry and was quite successful in his undertakings. He was energetic, cheerful and friendly. Mr and Mrs. Lambur came to Vienna in the spring of 1945 when he retired as a member of the typographical union in Chicago. He was a member of the Vienna Methodist Church, associate of the O.E.S., Rainbow Chapter, in Vienna, and Past Master of the Cosmos Lodge of St. Louis. Surviving him are his wife, a son Neil of West Palm Beach and a granddaughter, Miss Sandra of the home and another granddaughter, Mrs. Pat Smith and her two children, and a brother-in-law, Arthur Robbins of Vichy.
