According to census data, my Catherine was born abt. 1835 in TN. The next child was born 1837 in MO. We estimated that they moved to MO abt 1836. There were 13 children. Joseph also had a brother named George Washington Shanks, and a sister Maryann. That's a lot of similarities. Do you know the name of your Catherine's parents or siblings? I have quite a bit of info on this line, but not Catherine's spouse.
