I am planning a trip to Vienna for some research, can anyone tell me when the old jail and other museums are open? Is access to records at court house still limited to 1 - 4 on Wednesdays? Thanks, Bob Berg

Bob, Norm and I found that the old jail was closed until about September, but there were phone numbers that could be called to visit. We peeked through windows, took pictures, and imagined how it must have been for Norman's gggrandfather and ggrandfather to serve as Sheriff there. The Maries County Historical Society hours were limited on Wednesday at the courthouse. It is well worth it to go there, too.
