Shirley: I ran across a technique for getting information off of tombstones that are weathered and difficult to read. A couple in Indiana use shaving cream and a putty knife to lift information on the headstones. "some of the stones look like there is nothing on them and once you put the shaving cream on-there it appears". The couple's names are Gary and Karen Baldwin, they live in Lawrence County, Indiana and are working with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to locate and identify cemetaries and graves. Is anyone familiar with this technique? Do we have a project like this in Missouri?
