April 18, 1856 and he married Flora Mae Rieke January 19, 1887. They had several children and some of them were school teachers in maries county. My grandfather was a deputy sheriff inmaries county. What I would like to know who his parents were and any other information about them. My grandmother family(some of them came from germany) I think her father name was August Rieke. There is one living member of that family left my Aunt there daughter and my mother sister. She is 91 yearsold. There are some things she remembers and other things she doesn't. I have been told that there was indian blood in that family and I believe this to be true as there were some of my Aunts who could pass for indians. My mother also told me of this and some of the Rieke family that came here from Germay.
