ROSETTA RICHARDSON Rosetta Mary Richardson, 78, of Vienna, was born April 23, 1922 in Maries County, a daughter of Everett Dewey and Ida Myrtle Dambach Albertson, and departed this life at 5:00 a.m., Saturday morning, October 21, 2000, in Maries Manor Health Care Center in Vienna. Mrs. Richardson had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Richardson was united in marriage to Ray Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband; her father on Nov 25, 1971; her mother on Jan. 2, 1989; and two brothers, Lawrence Albertson on Mar 28, 1952, and Bobby Albertson in June of 1940. Mrs. Richardson has accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior and followed her Lord in Baptism, and at the time of her passing, was a member of First Baptist Church in Vienna. She had been employed as an assembly line worker with Carter Carburetor in St. Louis for 20 years. Those left to mourn the passing of Mrs. Richardson include: Five sisters, Florence Prusick and Elsie Frank, both of St. Louis, Lillian Dickneite of Jefferson City, Bonnie Wiles of Dixon and Betty Webb of Eldon; nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Fond memories of Mrs. Richardson will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Richardson at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday morning, Oct. 24, 2000, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham Martin Funeral Homes with Rev. Cellis A. Crum, officiating. Three hymns, "Safe In The Arms of Jesus," "Precious Memories," and "The Old Rugged Cross" were sung for the funeral service. Interment was in the Vienna Public Cemetery under the direction of Birmingham Martin Funeral Homes. Active pallbearers were Dennis Dickneite, Douglas Rains, Ronald Wiles, Michael Wiles, Randall Wiles and James Wiles. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Wiles, Darryl Wiles, Gary Rains, James Dickneite and Matthew Peak. Memorials are suggested to the Vienna Public Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund with envelopes available at the Vienna Office of the Birmingham Martin Funeral Homes.
