Steven, Thanks for the tip on the Hutchinson Family Bible. However, I believe you have the wrong family. According to one family oral history, our family dropped the "n" at the beginning of the American Revolution. The "n," as the story goes, was dropped to show the break in the family as well as the home country. When Governor Hutchinson went back to England the our family used the Scottish spelling. Jim, I have the same situation with my Battenfeld/Potterfield line. However, I hope you looked at the site that had it for sale. It had Revolution Era Hutchinsons. Which still might be something. I just like to hollar at folks when during my research ,I run accross something that they might want. Ebay is a good place to shop for county, surname and family heirlooms. Steven, I am glad you did. I should not have replied before checking it out. I was in a hurry to get out the door. It is not good for the pastor/preacher to be late for the first service.
