    2. I have that book. I've taken the info in that book and put in a PAF database, so I can download a gedcom for anyone that wants a copy. I've looked at the original microfilm record of Wolfgang Viessmann and Theresa Lauterbach at St. Josephs's Catholic Church in St. Louis. He is shown as Lutheran having taken catacism instruction. John Wolfgangs' father John George Viessmann and brothers Frederick and Christian all remained Lutheran. By the way John George Viessmann (Veasman) born 5 April 1805-died 17 August 1877 is buried next to his step-son Rudal Schuster at Maries Cemetery. If you are interested the passenger record says they all came from Lessau, Bavaria. The town was located northeast of Munich. The largest town it is near is Bayreuth.

    3. That is great to know. I have thought about doing the same. Have you added any info to your lines? It's been a while since I've worked on this, but would be happy to send you my info to ad to your records. Also, if you ever hear of a trip to Bavaria to do research I would be interested in going. Do you ever go to the family reunions. Timing hasn't worked out for me yet, but, I'd love to go. My mom loves going to Crocket and Dixon. She has a lot of great memories. My dad's parents also lived in Dixon so being able to go to a family reunion on the Veasman's would be grand. Thanks! 3. Terry, I have been looking for the history of Cathrine KERR who married John Viesmann. Does your book have any of Kerr relations?
