I am a granddaughter of Robert Calhoun Taff (married Sena Evalee Pelt), son of George Washington Taff and Mary (Molly) Carraway. I have not researched the Taff line, but am very interested in getting started. Siblings of my grandfather Robert Calhoun: Tully, William R., Welly, Elizabeth, Angus Beatty, Sinie, Commadore P., Alice & Twin Sister. In all accounts of asking about my great grandfather, no one could ever tell me where he originated from. Some say he just "appeared." Is your "George Washington Taff" the same as mine??
