    3. Hi DeVere, Peggy, and Shirley, Thanks for all the info, DeVere. Yes, the ones in the cemetery seem to be from Asa's bunch. I've identified three of the earliest ones so far. I do see a son of Nathaniel is buried there. I have heard that Rachel Cheek, Nathaniel's mom, is buried there, but she must not have a stone. I'd like to find which cemetery Barton Parks and Nancy Rowden are buried, if known (I have Richland in Camden CO for Barton, Pulaski Co for Martha). Also, does anyone know where Nathaniel is buried? I have he died in 1872 in Miller CO. I am also hunting for the 1860 census record for Barton. He was in Ozark Co, MO in 1850. I can't find Barton in MO in 1860. It would be the only census that would list Mary as his daughter. Peggy, thanks for the info. My Rowdens were pretty far back, so I don't know the more recent ones. However, I did find a HEROLD V PARKES in the Soc Sec Death Index who was born 28 Jun 1908 and died 07 May 1999 in Chester, Chesterfield, VA., and his Soc Sec was issued in Kansas. Also, there is an ALMA H PARKES who was born 26 Dec 1907 and died May 1994 in Kansas City, Jackson, MO. Her Soc Sec was issued in Missouri. Could this be them? Shirley, I was thinking about visiting the cemetery over the holidays if I have time. Busy time of year! I descend from Barton and Martha's daughter, Mary, who married Thomas Copeland. I'm actually double Copeland, Thomas and Mary's son Joseph married his second cousin Belle Copeland. I am also part Carnes, Tackett, Steward, and Taff. I live in Phelps County (Next to Maries CO). Happy holidays, Patty Rich
