Whoever, When I was growing up in Rolla, they used to have a Western Movie on every Saturday at the Rollamo Theatre. There were Whip Wilson, Lash Larue, Johnny Mack Brown, The Durango Kid and of course, Roy Rodgers, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Randolph Scott and the Lone Ranger. I got a quarter allowance for carrying in wood and mowing the grass. It cost a dime to see the show. The popcorn was nickel, Pepsi was a nickel and I had a nickel left for 5 Tootsie rolls. Then inflation hit, Pepsi went up to 6 cents and you only got 10 ounces instead of 12. This cost me one Tootsie Roll. You would set up in the balcony where you could put your arm around your girlfriend. DeVere
