    3. Dear Leanna, I'm sorry but I don't find her in either census. In 1910 the only Forresters I find (of any spelling, including F(a)rrester, are Irvin, Lucy and Tillman who are step children in the household of William Huzzym, of Spring Creek Township. In 1900 the only Forrester (again of any spelling) is Ethel who is a niece in the household of Hugh L. Copeland. Are you certain that Maries County is where they thought she was found? Sorry I couldn't help you Judy ----- Original Message ----- From: VANEARL To: wgermann@flinthills.com Cc: vanearl@SILCOM.COM Sent: Tuesday, June 26, 2001 11:53 AM Subject: MARIES COUNTY LOOKUP Hello! I am so happy I found someone who can help me! I was wondering if you could look up a name for me, Mary Lynn Forrester, in the Maries County 1900 Census or 1910 census, I was told she is in both. I need to know specifically her race. I would be very grateful for any information yo can give me. Thank you very much! Leanna Gerritsen

    2. Shirley A Scott
    3. Please respond directly to this individual as they are NOT on the list. Thank you. Forwarded by the ListAdmin for: HopkinsNIGHTOWL@aol.com Have you ever heard of an Orphans Home in the South west of MO called Ozark Mountain Home? About 1936 my father put me and my sister in an orphan home. As I got older I realized it was run by the Seventh Day Adventist. It was a sad story because we were not orphans! Mom and Dad divorced. We lived in Sherman, TX and Dad in Muskogee, OK. Mom had to have an operation and ask Dad to keep us for 2 months. Two month and Mom came for us. When Mom found out what happened all hell broke loose. She came with the police and all I remember The policeman yelling at the man who ran the orphans home and showing him papers. This home was in the country , 2 story and 16 girls in it. A boys unite up on a hill and lots of wild berries and a creek running in front of the house. We went thru a fence from a country road that lead to the back of the house. If you know of such a place please let me know. Sincerely, Hopkinsnightowl@aol.com
