    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VKB.2ACE/228.355 Message Board Post: My name is Debbie (Ridenhour) Taylor. I am just starting my search into my family history. I came across your listing and I had to inquire. My grandfather's name is Harold Cameron Ridenhour. His father was Harry C. Ridenhour. They last resided in Southern Ill., Ullin or Dongola, maybe Tamms. Could this be the same Harry Ridenhour as you? I was just wandering. Thanks, Debbie

    1. [MOMARIES] [ADMIN] List Information Review
    2. Shirley A Scott
    3. LIST RULES: 1) Keep your message genealogy related. No warnings, chain letters, etc. 2) Use the subject line to your best advantage. Some people won't bother to read your message unless the subject line catches their eye. I firmly believe that it is their loss, but do try to put something pertinent in the subject line. 3) Post messages in PLAIN TEXT only. Messages not in PLAIN TEST will be rejected and returned to you. For help in changing from HTML to PLAIN TEXT e-mail, go to http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/listowners/html-off.htm 4) If you have any questions regarding how this list is run, or have any suggestions for new procedures, then e-mail me privately at <shirleyscott@juno.com>. 5) If you do not like the way someone formats their queries or responses, or the content of their message, or the subject line; take it up with me or the poster PRIVATELY. List Settings: List Name prepended to subject line. Largest message allowed is 10K. Digests will be sent every 12 hours or 20K, whichever comes first. Three bounces and you will be removed from list. Hitting reply will send your reply to the list. Gateway: The message board for this county/surname is set up so that any messages posted will be forwarded to this list. You will know that it is a message board posting because it will start with this line: "This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list." Later in the message it will give you a URL for seeing the original post and where you can post a reply. Posting a reply to the list will not benefit the original author of the message board post as chances are, they may not subscribed to this list. Also by posting your response to the message board, a copy of your answer will be sent to the list (so you don't have to do it yourself). The message boards are designed to work in conjunction with this mailing list. I am the admin for all of these functions so that they will work smoothly together to benefit researchers. My goal is to assist researchers by making their "online" research as easy as possible. If you have any questions, please contact me privately at shirleyscott@juno.com . Since I am the CC/Admin for several MOGenWeb counties and several surnames, please put which county/surname you are referring to so that I can give you a specific answer (with URLs if necessary). Thank you. Happy ansearching, Shirley Scott, ListAdministrator shirleyscott@juno.com ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! 1. Re: [MOMARIES] Levi Russell of Maries County, MO
    2. John Turner
    3. There is a Louisa Russell in the 1880 Maries Co Census living in the household of Joseph and Nancy Copeland, listed as age 76 and as the widowed mother-in-law of Joseph Copeland (i.e. Nancy's mother). Nancy is listed as age 38 so this is probably the mother and daughter you have below. Let me know if you want more info on this family. This is the only Russell in the 1880 Maries Co census, according to the transcription I have. Did they move on after Maries Co.? In the1900 Maries Co census, interestingly, the only Russells are three children listed as the children of Sarah E. MC GEE, widowed head born Oct 1854 (MO TN MO). Her three children are Martha Russell born Sep 1883 MO, Willie born Aug 1886 MO, dau Josie E. born Feb 1896 MO. They are living five houses down from James WILES (Oct 1847 MO KY MO) and Polly A. (Dec 1853 MO VA VA) and their kids. --------------------- I do have a John W. Russell in my database (no dates) who married Elizabeth Moss. They had a son James W. Russell who married Martha P. Sloan. James and Martha had a son Palmer Russell who died Dec 2001. The above is unfortunately all I have on this John W. Russell. It seems unlikely but not impossible he is the one you are looking for. Good luck.----Melinda On Friday, October 12, 2001, at 06:45 PM, mim@grnet.com wrote: > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/VKB.2ACE/1115 > > Message Board Post: > > Does anyone out there have any information on the JAMES JOSEPH & JAMES > B.
