Just a note. In volume III of the History of Maries County, Mozelle Hutchison McKenzie put in a 10 page addendum to the Cemeteries of Maries County. There are many more names on those pages. I did search those ten pages for the Morris name without success. But anyone searching for Maries county burials should also use those pages in addition to Mozelle and Gail's wonderful book. I am not sure why I first hit on him, but I think it was because her second son was named Archie Donald and he was born in Dixon, Missouri. I have a listing for Arch's children with the last one being Jessie Isabell, b. 1913, d. 1917. It seems a huge coincidence to me that Arch T. and Isabella each had a child that carried the first name of the other. I am searching for any death record or gravesite for John Morris b. ca 1842 in MO and Young Blood Morris, b. ca 1842 in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have them on the 1880 Maries Census in Dry Creek. I have been asked where donations to Kenner Cemetery can be sent. Here is the information: Mail KENNER CEMETERY donations to our Secretary/Treasurer: Mr. Dale Copeland 32887 Maries Road 504 Dixon, MO 65459 Should you have questions, please feel free to call us. BENNIE WALDRON 573/855-8602 I am sorry I don't have contact info for any of the other cemeteries in Maries County.
I just read a newsletter from my family cemetery, reminding me how much it costs to keep the cemetery mowed and looking nice. And it also mentioned that with interest rates being low, the "perpetual fund" accounts aren't making much money right now. So, this is a request to keep your hometown cemetery in mind, and if you can send a check, do so. Thanks for listening.

I strongly "think" the E. B. Culbertson that married L F. Murray...she was Lenora Francis "Fannie" Murray (Murrow). She was born abt 1839 in Kentucky. She was the sister of Carolyn Murray (Morrow)Duke and Martha E Murray (Murrow) Duncan. Both Carolyn and Martha were living in Maries County at the time. She must have come after 1870 and married E.
