Dear listers, here is the information about the Farmington book, as related by Betty Warner: The name of the book is Farmington, Missouri, The First 200 Years 1798 - 1998. I know that they're for sale at the Farmington Public Library because I just purchased my copy there a couple of weeks ago. The cost is $59.00 per book. I know this seems like a lot, but it's a really beautiful hardback book with green covers and gold lettering, and it's obvious that a lot of work and research went into the project. The book consists of approximately 264 pages and is loaded with lots of history as well as wonderful old photos from the Farmington area, and also has a large family history section. If you're unable to make it to Farmington, you may be able to order one by phone and have it shipped to you. If you call the library, I'm sure they could let you know if that's an option. Their phone number is: 573-756-5779. If I can be of any further help, just let me know. B.
