Goodspeed's History of Southeast Missouri says Chris Weigenstein was Judge of Probate court from 1879 to 1883. Goodspeed says Father Tucker was in charge of the Parish at Fredericktown until December 1880, but doesn't name the church. There is a book about Roman Catholics west of Maryland that has quite a bit of information about Madison and Perry County MO catholics. There is a series of marriage books that date back nearly to the beginning of Madison County that should mention your marriage. The early ones are on microfilm at the regional library on west Main. There might be mention of these families in Historical Madison County. I don't have a copy to check. Gerald J.
