The annual home-coming and basket dinner, held Sunday, August 5, at Mine La Motte, was attended by a large group of former residents and friends. Speakers during the afternoon included Dr. Harry Barron of Fredericktown, Rubert Arnoldi of Leadwood, Rev. James Baldwin and Rev. Henry Mabery of Bonne Terre. Music was furnished by a string band, and an interesting display of trophies of World War II was a feature of the day's entertainment.
