    2. I have the above named book and wish to protest one family listed in it ' The Descendents of Kiziah Penney Pioneer Settler. Who ever wrote this article had two women mixed up They both were apparently of about the same age and came to Mo about the same time. My Keizah or Kizzy Clubb was the daughter of Phillip Cobb who lived in Cape Girardeau county near Old Appleton with several children, Came to Mo some right after 1840 his daughter Kizzy married George Clubb in Lincoln County NC and settled near Marquand in Madison county. Phillip's father came to Mo in the very early 1830's and he and a son Starling died in 1833. In Cape Girardeau co Mo. My Gr gr grandfather married one of Phillip's daughers Mary b. May 1827 married Richard Jolly and they lived near Marquand, In Madison Co MO. Kizzy and George Clubb and children listed in the 1850 Census of Madison Co Mo Page 818 Clubb George age 32 m North Carolina Kissy 19 f NC Sarah E 7 f NC Daniel P 5 m NC ** Martha A 6/12 b. MO Kissie's sister Mary Cobb age 22 f NC Probably a twin to Martha A ** Margarette 6/12 bn NC 1870 Census Madison Co Mo German twp 1880 Census Madison co Mo German twp enu dist 61 page 61 line 11 3/8 6 Clubb Kizzie head female b. Apr 1818 age 82 NC had 7 childrn 3 living both her parents were born NC KIzzy Clubb's husband George Clubb. Had a farm near Marquand I have Copy of her brother Roland Cobb's probate records who died in 1908 whech says that final payments had been made to all heirs except Kizzy Clubb. Her share was $28.73 but that Kizzy had departe this life and that they were therefore unable to obtain her receipt. , also that at the time of her death she was indebted to him personally on an account for $18.50 and on a note for $50.00 they closed the accout. She is buried in the Whitner cemetery near Marquand, Madison co MO. Tombstone inscription gives b. as April 15 1819 d. 12 sept 1906. Opal MCKinzie Haas
