As I said I just got back form Fredericktown and was a little disappointed. The land records at the courthouse were fine and also found some probates there. There are alos marriage records, but no death records. The library oopens at 11:00 and it did have some things such as cemetery information I can't believe there weren't more obits -I have a Christopher Wiegenstein who died in 1907 and was a judge and I would have thought he would have had an obit. The town is typical small town with a square which I always enjoy. Not many restaurants and we found only 1 motel the Econo lodge (I was glad to find it) althought on Hwy 67 there was a Super 8 further north. It is very pretty country with the hills, etc. I would think in spring it must be very beautiful. Good luck and if you find anything interesting let me know Lenora from WIS
