I am working on my family tree information and have hit a road block and am hoping to locate someone who might know something. Any information is greatly appreciated. I am searching for the Rhodes family and Harmon family as well. I know that my Great Grandmother was born there in Madison, County. Her name was Sarah Elmine Rhodes. She was born on March 26, 1894. I have some information that says that her mother's name may have been America Jane...but no last name. I know that she was american indian and had a somewhat darker complection. I am also trying to locate any information on the surname Harmon. It may have been spelled differently then also. In particular, I am searching for information on a Quincy Fate Harmon, born July 6, 1872 in madison County and died in Clarkton Mo, on Feb. 15, 1954. I have seen some information that says that his name may have been spelled Quientlee as opposed to Quincy.
