Nettie Columbia LAIRD (b. Aug 4, 1885; d. Apr 23, 1976; m. Harrison Benson WATTS (b. Dec 19,1887, d. Feb 10, 1940; marriage date Oct 19, 1908; their son, Forrest "Frosty" WATTS (b. Nov 8, 1910, d. Sep 19, 1968) m. Loyola BRAUN marriage date Oct 18, 1934. After the death of H.B. WATTS, Nettie married Marshall "Bud" Wooldridge, Sep 1948 or 1949. Bud was the sheriff of Madison County and they lived at the jail, with Nettie preparing meal and doing laundry for the younger people. Bobbi - - need to correct this - - Marshall Wooldridge was not "Bud" - - and was not sheriff of Madison County, MO. - - "Bud" was Harrison Benson 'H.B.' WATTS, and he was elected sheriff of St. Francois County, MO in 1924. Also - Nettie was born 1886 . . .
