Angela, I have two John Shults in my database, but neither appears to be yours. My first John Shults was possible born 01 Jan 1830 in Cape Girardeau County and died 10 Mar 1920 in Madison County. His parents were George Shults and Sarah Hudson (Hutson). He had (at least) two wives, Rebecca J. <unknown> and Mary Jane Mounce. George came to Madison County around 1836. The second John was a brother to George Shults. His parents were Marcus and Christenia Shults. He was apparently dead when his father's will was probated in December 1836 in Cape Girardeau County.
