She was born in or around the city of Macon MO in 1824. In Dec. 24, 1839 she married Aaron Andrews and they moved to Moberly where they had approx 6 children. Does anyone know of a Barnes family living near or in Macon in approx. 1824-1839? Thanks for help.
My husband's BARNES family is from that area. His GGGgrandparents were Sarah (DENHAM) and James BARNES. They came to the area, from Madison County, KY between the births of their 4th and 5th children. Their oldest child, Arathusa BARNES was my husband's GG grandmother. She was born 1812/13 while the family was still living in KY. She m/ Squire HOLMAN and they both died in Macon County, MO. She, on 21 July 1889. Leslie Kohler P.O.
