When Big David arrived at the Sinclair (Peabody) Coal Co. property northwest of Moberly he was in pieces. My father was one of the machinists who assembled him. Over time, he rumbled thru the countyside of Randolph and Macon counties. It was sad to see the last of him when he was sold. Shirly
