My husband's ancestors are Philip 1, then William Hoggatt 2, then Stephen Hockett 3, then William Hockett 4 , then Thomas 5, then Henry 6, then Alvin 7 who was my husband's grandfather. Philip was born in Jan 1687 & d. 26 Jan 1783. He married 21 July 1722 Mary Glendennning b. 8 Dec. 1698 d. 17 Nov 1780 Guilford Co. N.C. Both she & Philip are buried in Springfield Cemetery Springfield, N.C.
