He moved to Macon Co about 1846 (possibly from Ralls Co., MO or directly from Shenandoah Co., VA). He married Elvira Lovern in Macon County and they both died there. He died in 1895, she in 1905. They are buried in the Bunce Cemetery near Elmer.
