Littleberry purchased land in Macon county in 1840. I am related to Rice Patterson (b. 1811, d. 1877) of Howard County. Rice's grandfather was Littleberry Patterson of Virginia and he had a brother Little B (b. ~1818). The 1830 census, Howard County listed a L.B. Patterson and the 1840 census listed a B. Patterson.
