Hi, I'm trying to sort out some of my Macon county ancestors and relations and was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a township map for 1843, or at least sometime after Adair split off of Macon county? I'd also like to find one for about 1840 (while Adair was still part of Macon). Sometimes I think it would be nice to have a time machine and then I could go back and sort them all out in person. (Yes, this is a special 1843 Macon county census and I am your census taker....) In 1843 Macon county I would like to find out where precisely township 59-N/range 15-W is and how that correlates to where Independence and Liberty townships are on the 1840 Federal Census for Macon county. If anyone can help I'd be ever so grateful! Thanks, Chris
