I just received his pension records and it stats that he lived 3 years in College Mound, Missouri. He became a minister sometime after the Civil War and it's possible that he went to McGhee College. What I'm wondering is if anyone knows if the registration/graduation records of McGhee College and McGhee Holiness College & Ministerial Training Institute are available somewhere.
