The purpose of this new book is to preserve your heritage and the heritage of all families who live or have lived in LaPlata and the surrounding area since it’s beginning in 1855. This beautiful book will contain the history of the LaPlata area, as well as hundreds of photos, many never before published. Yes, the book will be fully indexed. You will find it especially interesting because your family story can be included, FREE! There has never been a book of this type and quality published in the LaPlata area. A HISTORY OF LAPLATA AND SURROUNDING AREA, VOL. I, will be printed on archival quality paper and will have a beautifully bound hard cover of exceptional quality. Some of the Features the Book will include: (Your contribution to any section is welcome.) I. We will charge ten cents for each extra word, and $10 for each extra picture.
