This is what I have so far: 1850 Census Macon Co. MO. page 157 District 57. William Vestal 27 M b. Ky., Millie Jane 27 b. KY. John 7 b. MO., Jacob 5 b. MO., Robert 3 b. MO., William M. 2 b. MO. ________________________________________________ Obit: Millie Vestal: Mrs. Millie VESTAL, 77, died at her home in Ardmore 31 August 1896. She was the Daughter of Robert GIPSON, who died a few years ago at the ripe old age of 120 years. Aunt Millie as she has long been called, was married to William Vestal about the year 1851. He died about six or seven years ago, they were the parents of seven children. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She leaves five brothers and one sister, two sons and one daughter. Funeral at Callao with interment at Antioch. The correct marriage date is 09 Dec. 1842, Macon Co, MO. Obit Mrs. Georgia Ellen Vestal Mrs. Georgia Ellen VESTAL, 77, wife of the William M. Vestal died 18 July 1932 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. G. Badgerow in Macon. Georgia Ellen DAVIS was born at College Mound, MO. 26 March 1855. She was the mother of nine children, two preceded her in death. The seven surviving are: Mrs.(Millie M.) J. G. BADGEROW of Macon; J. W. (James William)Vestal of Bevier; Mrs. (Lou Ada) Osie BRAMMER, Macon, Elza VESTAL, Slater; E. Y.(Ezra Yates) VESTAL, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. (May W.) Hansel "Owell" (POWELL), Excello; and Mrs. (Maude A. "Mandie?") Emmett LUCAS, Moberly. Funeral at First Baptist Church and burial in West Oakwood Cemetery, Bevier. _______________________________________________ My question IS: Are there birth records for the time period of 1848-1850's? If not how do I confirm, other than what has been found in the way of proof of the Identity of William M. Vestal parents' this William being the husband of Georgia Ellen Davis Vestal. Are they one in the same, which is what I believe. Or is this enough, to prove this as fact? No death or burial records have been found for either William Vestal's to date.
