I am descended from his brother James, who left Marion county for Monroe county, He was listed as one of the early settlers of the area, along with another Parrish whose name I cannot remember. There are Parrish graves in the local cemetery that supposedly are not 'our' familhy, but I don't think there could be too many Parrish families in one small community.
