    1. [MOMACON] Everett S. Taylor and Ruth Aldin-Swallow-Davis
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Taylor, Aldin, Swallow, Davis, Fitzpatrick Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/DNB.2ACI/376 Message Board Post: Hello. I'm hoping someone can help me locate more information on my great-grandparents, Everett Slyvester Taylor and Ruth Aldin (her maiden name might have been Ruth Swallow). Recently, I was able to find them together in the 1930 census of Liberty Township, Macon County, MO. I was also able to trace my great-grandfather (he was listed as Everett S. Taylor in all of the census listings) in the 1920 and 1900 censuses of Liberty Township. Here is the information I found in the census listings: 1930 Liberty Township, Macon County, MO Everett S. Taylor (head) - white male age 34, 1st marriage 24, born in MO, parents born in US. Ruth Taylor (wife) - white female age 19, 1st marriage 17, born in MO, parents born in MO. Kenneth (son) - white male age 8/12, born in MO, parents born in MO. 1920 Liberty Township, Macon County, MO Everett S. Taylor (living in household of Will M. Winkler but relation unknown) - white male age 24, born in MO, father born in Iowa, mother born in Canada but English speaking. 1900 Liberty Township, Macon County, MO Everett S. Taylor (living in household of William Winkler, relation servant) - white male age 5, born Aug. 1894 in MO, father born in Iowa, mother born in Canada. I have been unable as yet to find Everett S. in the 1910 census or his wife Ruth Aldin/Swallow in any other census. Everett and Ruth had two children, Kenneth and Mary, before he died while the children were still young. Ruth remarried to a man with the last name of Davis and possible lived in California for a short time before returning to the Midwest. If anyone has more information on this family, please e-mail me or post a reply here. Kenneth Taylor, son of Everett and Ruth, is my grandfather and other family members are also interested in finding out more. Shena M. David Shena9881@aol.com
