    3. My husband's BARNES family is from that area. His GGGgrandparents were Sarah (DENHAM) and James BARNES. They came to the area, from Madison County, KY between the births of their 4th and 5th children. Their oldest child, Arathusa BARNES was my husband's GG grandmother. She was born 1812/13 while the family was still living in KY. She m/ Squire HOLMAN and they both died in Macon County, MO. She, on 21 July 1889. Leslie Kohler P.O.     3. 7th Annual Lyda Reunion Sunday, September 21, 2003 Mt. Tabor Church, East of Atlanta, MO At the Highway 63 and Route M intersection near Atlanta, go east on M for 2 to 2 1/2 miles. The church is on the left side of the road; the cemetery is on the right. For those who would like to attend morning services at Mt. Tabor Church, Sunday School begins at 9:45 and church at 10:45.     3. Guten Tag, My husband's Ggrandparents, Christian F. KÖHLER (KOEHLER) and Sopha NEUMANN, are our only known Germanic Prodigenators. Christian was born ca 22 Sep 1837 in Metz, Germanic Europe and died 3 Jan 1906 in Macon County, Missouri, USA. He and Sopha married in Wolcottsville, Niagara County, New York, USA on Nov. 11th, in either 1868 or 1870 (We've seen both.) Sopha was born 5 Feb 1842 in Germanic Europe and died 16 Mch 1918 in Macon County, Missouri, USA. Both Christian and Sopha immigrated through New York, USA. She immigrated with her parents: Elizabeth (d 1894) and Henry (d 1881) NEUMANN. They are buried in Bloomington, Missouri, USA. Sopha had a sister named Ella (sp?) who is also buried at Bloomington.
