I wonder if anyone has run across info on two of my German immigrant families to Lewis Co -- the Kaiser's and Welsch's -- both buried at Talona. My gr.grandmother was Mary Elizabeth Kaiser Lillard, whose maiden name, of course, was Kaiser; her mother was a Welsch. One bit of lore was that one of the young women in the family came to Lewis Co at first at age 16 or so with money to buy land, and then the others came out.
