John T. Barnes married Mary S."Mollie" Lindsey. She died and is buried in LaBelle cemetery. John then married Mary S. "Mollie" sister who was named Malonia/Malonie and was nicked named "Lonie" or Lony." John and send wife are found in the 1910 census with his children (her nieces and nephews) along with Roy who was their only son. 1910 MO Census Shelby County, MO, Black Creek Twsp 1/2 West (Part of) E.D. 163, Page 35a, Line 38 April 19, 1910 BARNES, John: 39 Yrs. Married 10 Yr. 5 children/5 alive. MO-MO-MO. Farmer Lonie (Wife): 28 Yrs. Married 10 Yrs. (doesn't show children but if married 10 yrs., she whould have had the son named Roy) MO-MO-MO Esther (Daughter): 16 Yrs. MO-MO-MO Elsie (Daughter): 14 Yrs. MO-MO-MO Robert (Son): 13 Yrs. MO-MO-MO Pearl B. (Daughter): 11 Yrs. MO-MO-MO Roy (Son): 8 Yrs. MONTANA-MO-MO In 1920 John T and his second wife and their son are living in WY, but John died in Chillicothe MO and was buried with his first wife. I just don't know what happened to Malonie/Malonia or Lonie/Lony or their son, Roy, after John's death in Sept. 1929. 1920 WY Census Laramie County, Election Dist. MT-MO-MO THE LABELLE STAR Friday, Sept. 13, 1929, Page 1 DEATH OF JOHN T. BARNES John T. Barnes, who was born near LaBelle August 4, 1869, passed away at his home in Chillicothe, Missouri, September 9, 1929, and his remains were brought to LaBelle and buried in the local cemetery. He was united in marriage to Mille (sp) Lindsey, September, 1892, who preceded him in death several years ago. To this union were born four children, two having preceded him in death. After the death of his first wife he was united in marriage to Leonie Lindsey. To this marriage one child was born. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, residing in Des Moines, Iowa; two sons living in Wyoming, three brothers, David, who resides in the West and C. . and Ernest, of LaBelle, and three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Smith and Miss Nannie Barnes, of Chillicothe, and Mrs. Ruth Vanskyke of Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services were conducted at the residence of C. H. Barnes, in La Belle, Wednesday, September 11, by Rev. W. E. Akers, and interment was made in LaBelle cemetery.
