My Buckners were in Iron County for sure 1879 When John married Pheobie Lewis and up until 1910 after which John moved to St. Louis and died there in dec 1920 I think. Pheobe died in childbirth 1899 Iron County as far as I know John never re-married. Daughter Maude married William Gunnett moved to Washington County and died there in 1919. Lula married Richard Boese moved to St. Louis area died in 1939,Ida married Rufus Clopp in Jefferson County Missouri moved to Camden County and died in Kansas City 1947. Ila died early on after giving birth to a son which her sister Lula raised as her own. Minnie married Robert Carleton moved to St. Louis then married John Rapp she also died in St. Louis. Leatha -Lethie- Aleatha Pearl married Wesley Gunnett lived in Reynolds County , Jefferson County and after 1930 married Robert Plummer she died and was buried in Jefferson County. Zora married an imigrant by the name of Richard (Dirk) Vanderwerff and died in 1950 St. Louis. I think that about covers what I know about them , I have looked at all Buckners in and around the known areas and cant seem to place John with parents as yet . John is quite a common name but when I discoverd the middle name started with E. I thought I might have an edge so far that hasnt been the case as the only John E. I have found was not mine he lived in Callaway county and was younger and single when mine was married and later married a Kate. Any help is appreciated and thanks so much for trying to help me Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
