They are not listed in any census after 1860. 2 children, Dora and George were born to them. 1862 and 1867. George Jr. is listed in the 1880 census in Monticello, and his sister in Blackburn, Saline Co. Family tradition states that George Sr. died when the children were small and the children were raised by other families. "Whom"? What happened to Caroline their mother?
