The nearest cemetery to their property is Deer Ridge and they probably died about 1888 or so. They could have gone to live with children nearby and died there though. Before they died they turned over their property to their son, Marshal G. GREGORY who was a Methodist Minister so the information regarding Forrest Grove Cemetery being a Methodist minister cuaght my eye. I wasn't aware of the Canton and Forrest Grove Cemetery movement issues at that time and was wondering where is this Forrest Grove Cemetery located?

Perhaps you should try a little farther north. I have a Frances Gregory who lived in Des Moines County, IA, and was buried in Henry County, IA. I do not know her husband's name but have the children's names. She also happens to be my father's mother's grandmother. I do have a copy of the obituary that was in the newspaper (which I got from the Des Moines County Genealogical Society).
