If Armstrong was your g-g-grandmother, you might want to look in Scotland County for her burial site. There were some Armstrongs there. My grandfather's grandfather's brother married an Armstrong--they were near Bible Grove. My second great grandmother Martha Nicolina Armstrong Terpening married to Harrison Peck Terpening in Kelly Twp., Warren county, IL March 08, 1866. They later moved to Ewing, Lewis Co., MO where Martha Nicolina Armstrong Terpening Died April 08, 1886. She is buried in some cemetery near Ewing MO. and beings it is in Lewis Co., MO. It's all I know But would like to know more. and don't. I have her orbit here somewhere and it says she died there and buried there. How far is this Scotland Co., MO from Lewis Co., MO? Do you know where your Armstrong's came from before going to MO?
