I don't think we'll have much luck though... just seems like a tough family to track - the father was listed as being a retired cotton manufacturer so i'm not sure if he followed the cotton to America and then back to England. The mother and father are John & Margaret Barr and the son (who's birth i'm looking for) is Joseph. His age on the various census vary from being born 1845-1851. If you could have a look i'd be very appreciative... i've got my fingers and toes crossed. Thanks very much - Yolanda
