The USGS has corrupted the name of the Fretwell Branch. They now call it the Freckle Branch. I am a Fretwell descendant. A copy of an early Atlas page clearly showing that the Branch was once called the Fretwell Branch is needed to get the USGS to fix it's mistake. I don't know where to get a copy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Does anyone have access to an early Atlas for Lewis County? Just north of Monticello is a stream called the Fretwell Branch. I have a need to know, if early atlases clearly showed the name of the stream. Thanks, Mitch

Hello list, I am looking for any info on a William Henry Pilcher who was born about 1845 in Illinois but in 1880 was living in Canton, Lewis County, Missouri. Me married Annie Buford in 1873. Thanks, Fern
I think these are probably grandsons. The one I was looking for was born about 1786 and Elizabeth was born about 1800. But thankyou for the info.
