    3. Ross, This was a circuit for music teachers. They could have been country churches or country schools or just areas where the music teachers taught in someone's home. My Dad was eleven in this picture. As usual he is half hidden by somebody's head. Looking at the picture right to left, he is behind the second girl seated on the ground; he has his are up on his knee while holding his bow. That's one ided..John Albert Stewart from Bois D'Arc, just South of Halltown. He must have had lessons in Halltown since Bois D'Arc isn't listed.
