Pat, According to Daniel Biddlecome's biography in the 1974 History, he was born 22 March 1798, Vermont, the son of Richard and Ruth (Hendrix) Biddlecome. So it sounds like this is the same family. The name is also spelled Biddlecombe according to the article. And Biddlecomb is probably another spelling of the same name. Daniel's first wife was Mary Neff who died leaving a child, Mary, who was later Mrs. George Taylor of Kansas. Perhaps Elaine is descended from this Taylor family.
