Hello again, The Masonic Lodge in Mt. Vernon apparently still exists as the website for the Grand Lodge of MO. It's meetings are listed as the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays. Also, the Mt. Vernon Chamber of Commerce website lists: Dan Ditzler, Rt 2 Box 43 B, with a telephone number. Has anyone been in contact with him? I will write to him, but perhaps someone who lives in the area can call him and ask where the old records can be found. This is great fun to be able to work together to help further our research! I've learned soooo much over the years from the people on the Lawrence and Dade lists, and the Lawrence Co. Historical Society.
