I'm seeking for any information on Jacob Myers, who was living in 1860 in Montgomery Township, Owen County, Indiana, but by 1870 was living in Lawrence County, Missouri, and in 1880 was in Tomahawk, Searcy County, Arkansas. I've got all the census records for him and his family for these years, but I'd like more data, especially on his Indiana years. He is listed on the 1870 census as unable to vote due to either a crime or rebellion, and I suspect he may have joined a Confederate group in the Civil War, possibly in Missouri. His family apparently stayed back in Indiana when he was gone, and no children were born from about 1861 to 1865.
