In Vol. II of the marriage records I find: "'Plater?, John, to Louisa Lewis, 22 Jan. 1871, Henry C. Yates, M. G. D/20" Hi Lynda, Thank you for this marriage information. Now I'm really confused!! Louella Lewis does not appear in the 1870 census with her parents so I assumed she was living with another family or married by that time, so an 1871 marriage for her might me correct. Do the Vol II marriage records list their ages or towns they were from? Everything I have for Mr. Plater says T.A. maybe it was J.A and I have been reading the letter wrong. Could you please check the marriage book and see if there are any other Plater marriages. I do not find them in MO by 1900. They may have been in OK and I will look there next. Thank you again.
