My grandmother was adopted and after many letter's and call, her records for found in the deed area. My grandmother was deed to my Step Grandfather. Here is was her records say: Deed of Adoption This deed made and entered into by and between Charles O. Munday and Cora E. Munday his wife of the county of Jasper and state of Missouri, parties of the first part, and Cora E. Munday of the county of Jasper and state of Missouri, parent of Gwyndola Corena Disney of the third part, Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of one dollar to them paid, by the party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and of the love and affection they bear the said Gwyndola Corena Disney party of the third part, have adopted, and by these presents do adopt, the said Gwyndola Corena Disney, as and for their child and heir, as fully as they are by law empowered to do. And the party of the second part for and on account of the consideration above expressed consent to the adoption of the said Gwyndola Corena Disney, by the parties of the first part and aforesaid, and do forever release and resign unto the said parties of the first part, all legal rights and privileges to the care, custody and control that they may have to or over the said Gwyndola Corena Disney as parent or otherwise, and the said parties of the first part agree to support, maintain and educate the said Gwyndola Corena Disney and bestow upon her the care and treatment due from parent to child.
